Education

The never ending process...

For me, education never ends. As soon as you stop wanting to learn, life gets extremely boring.

I graduated from Georgia College State University in December 2010 with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems. There I was introduced to aspects of the IT world including: networking, databases, web development, programming, and systems administration. I was immersed in all aspects of the business world: management, accounting, marketing, finance, and economics. Attending a liberal arts college allowed me to involve myself with a diversity of peoples and ideas that I would not have seen anywhere else.

My education did not end in the classroom, as I constantly strive to learn new concepts. This led me to a summer internship for the Information Technology Security Team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, allowing me to discover my love for IT Security.

In line with my continuing quest for knowledge, I am currently studying for the CompTIA Network+ Certification (N10-004), and plan on obtaining the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-301), and the Associate of (ISC)2 certifications within the near future.
