I do have a life outsite technology...

While technology plays a major role in my life, I love getting away every now and then. I try to spend as much time as I can outdoors, whether I am hiking, playing golf, or just relaxing in the sun reading a book. I love to read, and try to finish a new book or re-read an old favorite atleast once a week.

Although it is more of a lifestyle than an interest, bodybuilding has been a part of my life for the past few years. Not a day goes by that I am either in the gym training or outside getting my cardio in. Bodybuilding has shown me how to acheive any goal. I have the discipline to push through the difficult and realize my dreams. I know how much research and planning it takes to become good at anything. Ever since my old room-mate dragged me to the gym after 3 years of partying in college, I havn't been able to get enough. Every day I can wake up, look in the mirror, and declare that I am in the best shape of my life and I look forward to being able to do that for as long as I live.

I love spending time with friends. I always look forward to being able to hang out, play pool, or watch t.v. with a group of close friends. Unfortunately, not all of my friends live near enough to hang out every week. This is where another of my hobbies comes into play: online gaming. Now that we are all graduated and have moved to the far reaching corners of the earth, I am still able to talk to all of my friends and hang out for a few hours every weekend. I feel that I am lucky to live during a time when technology has made this possible. Using VoIP servers (Ventrilo/Teamspeak/Mumble) I can share stories with my friends that now live in California, Canada, Florida, and Ohio. I can pass the time with friends either leveling characters on an MMO or killing and being killed in an FPS; sharing stories about our week now that we no longer are sitting in class together every day.
